Behind the Wood 

Hello! I'm Nicole. The Barefoot Bevel grew from an organic place. In the midst of a home renovation, I decided to build my first pieces: A kitchen table, chairs and a bench. I fell head over heels with the idea of creating unique and elegant pieces that people could fall in love with.

I spent years formulating a business model. Eventually, The Barefoot Bevel was founded in my garage in 2022. My goal will always be to create stunning centerpieces and custom furniture with your goals in mind. 

 

The Barefoot Bevel family includes my son, Colton, and puppy dog, Bodhi. You'll notice Bodhi quite a bit on the site. 

We are located in Des Moines, Iowa. Visitors are welcome anytime! I'd love to show you the "garage."
